Time technology

Braiding

For TIME everything begin by the braiding of our fibers, selected one by one in order to obtain specific features. These characteristics impact the feeling that you can have on our bikes. For example, the Vectran fiber is characterised by a high absorption capacity, whereas Carbon fiber is known to be lighter and more rigid. 
Once selected, theses fibers are braided to obtain a “sock” of fibers. 
The benefits of this technology, compared to other systems are: different frame’s characteristics (precision), fibers uniformity in the sock (fiability), quality ride and unparalleled handling (feeling).

TIME’s know-how is the only way to use this technology.

AKTIV

Following several years of research and the application of three patents, TIME revolutionizes the cycling world launching on the market the Aktiv fork. Our numerous studies have shown that most of the vibrations were amplified by the fork of the bike; conquequently, we placed an AKTIV mass damper system in each sleeve of the fork. This lessens the vibratory phenomenon at it's source and as close to the road as possible. By vibrating themselves at a given frequency, they dissipate vibrations felt in the seat, stem and handlebars. 

TIME's priority has always been to treat vibration phenomena without opposing comfort and performance. Unlike most existing systems, AKTIV fork is an active device fully preserving your physical potential, improving the behavior of your bike, and increasing your pedaling efficiency. 

Resin Transfer Molding

RTM technology enables precise and excellent reproducibility of the desired ride characteristics. The injection of the resin under pressure ensurres consistent impregnation of the fiber weave layers and eliminates the risk of delamination and structural weakness. The industrial reliability of RTM allows TIME to offer a lifetime warranty on all of our frames. 

Carbon Matrix Technology

Used in the aerospace industry, CMT allows the manufacturing of complex shapes with incredible strength while reducing weight. This process creates very high quality carbon fiber parts for exceptional performance.


Endurance

The geometry of the Fluidity has been designed for long distances on different terrains. It meets the design objectives of stability, durability and comfort on hilly landscapes but is also designed for efficiency and speed while in flatter, lower landscapes. Our designers and engineers have pored over every detail of this frame to offer a bike that goes faster and further while respecting the morphology of the body.

Comfort 

We integrate VECTRAN® fibers in the construction of the Fluidity. Precisely placed and  positioned, they absorb road vibrations and guarantee optimal comfort for you. Energy-sapping vibrations absorbed by the frame, never reach the human body, allowing you to ride faster, longer.

The frame geometry also puts you in a more upright position, making it more comfortable for longer rides.
